Isn't it fascinating to think of how long this has been standing, all the people through the centuries that have looked at and marvelled at it?It's a wonderful photograph. I'm glad you posted it.
This aquaduct is one of the few originals. If I remember correctly it has to do with the quality of the stones from the quarry. These were harder stones.Truly a marvel to behold.
