Please Vote for Annie

May I prevail upon my readers to vote for this lovely lass? The Kinston shelter is the one that I transport for. To go to the voting screen, please click here.

Annie was a Kinston (Lenoir SPCA, NC) native, left hugely pregnant at the shelter at about 10 years of age. Had 14 pups, been though heartworm treatment, spay, etc and owes everything to her wonderful rescuer Donna. Would love to see annie be a poster child...please send to everyone in your address book, and vote!

Hi! Please vote for Annie-Since finally getting spayed as an 'older woman,' she could certainly be the poster dog for neutering pets. Thanks for sending this to more friends. Hugs, Donna & Annie

Hi!
I'm Annie. The person who takes care of me, Donna, has entered me in The Humane Society of the United States' Spay Day USA Pet Photo Contest, presented by Nature's Miracle and Zoombak. Now I need your vote to help me win some cool prizes. Go here to vote for me!
To celebrate Spay Day USA (February 26), The Humane Society of the United States is telling everyone that spaying and neutering improves pets' lives. In addition to making pets better, more affectionate companions, spaying and neutering helps animals live longer and healthier.
To enter the photo contest, my caregiver submitted this picture and wrote a few nice words about me. Help us get more votes by forwarding this message to other family and friends. If I'm one of the top 500 vote-getters, we'll have a chance to win a fabulous prize. A panel of celebrity judges is also going to pick the best photo and essay and we'll have a chance to win even more prizes.
If you'd like to enter your own pet in the contest, then please do—I can handle some friendly competition! And if you want to stay on top of how I am doing in the contest, visit the Find a Pet page and search for me by name.
Enter your pet in the contest and vote today. The contest ends on March 7, 2008.
Sincerely,
Annie

Hi Leisa! I voted for Annie! I'm having terrible withdrawals... miss the gang at RM and it's only been two days! May have to talk to the CFO (me!) and cut back on food instead! Well, I'll be leaving next Tuesday for FL.... that should be fun. Say hi to the gang for me! I hope your foot is getting better! Mary

Hi Mary:

Thanks for voting for Annie. I'm so disgusted by the number of pregnant females (or new moms/pups)that get dumped at that shelter.

I saw on the blog well wishes for your MIL. I didn't see the news, but I'll send healing thoughts.

I bought a few rail (CNI/BNI) puts . Just a fistful each.

Hi Mary. Sure do miss you on the blog. Hope all is well and that you have a great time in FL. Good luck negotiating with the CFO. If you need to secure outside financing I have a couple of hats we can use. I'll let you have the good corner and I'll work the traffic. :) I think you must have taken my mojo with you. Please, come back. Gator

Hi Leisa, tell them thanks, MIL doing AOK. She's 87 and has congestive heart failure, so fluid is a problem. I sold my SDS calls. 1/2 at the open and 1/2 near the close. Bot JEC puts on the first bounce this a.m. Still holding.

I watch Animal Police all the time and can't believe how cruel people can be to animals. All the rage now to have pit bulls. Recent show had 2 litters, can't remember the numbers but a few did survive. I suppose that's why the good people can take the heartache, knowing they made a difference for a few. And the animals are so forgiving. I'm itchy for an adoptee, but would like to have the summer with hubbie free as a bird.

P.S. I voted 2x. I'll get my sister and nieces to vote too!

Gator - LOL! I really miss you and the gang! This won't last. The CFO will have to think of something! Creative financing... she's done it before - But with vaca coming I thought I'd deal with RM, and their 20% discount, when I get back.
